Michael Burstein, Director
Dr. Michael Burstein worked for IBM in 1980-1985, moved to Silicon Valley, CA in 1986, where he became a serial entrepreneur. In 1986 Dr. Burstein co-founded Descartes Design Automation, provider of physical design automation software for semiconductor chips, which was acquired by Mentor Graphics (NASDAQ: MENT) in 1989. In 1991 Michael co-founded Gambit Automated Design, provider of the next generation routing technology for IC chips, which was acquired by Synopsys, Inc. (NASDAQ: SNPS) in 1999. In 2003 he has co-founded Golden Gate Technology, Inc., a Venture Capital backed start-up aimed at power consumption reduction in semiconductor chips.

Presently Michael Burstein is a lead investors and executive officer at Trend Software, Inc. dba PropertyMinder, provider of web products & services to Real Estate professionals and is also the CEO of Mediaboost, a platform and marketplace for direct response online marketing.
Michael Burstein holds PhD in Mathematics, from Georgia (USSR) Academy of Sciences (1978).

Raúl Camposano, Director
Dr. Raúl Camposano is the CEO of Sage. He was previously the CEO of Nimbic, a startup that was acquired by Mentor Graphics in 2014. From 1994 to 2007 he was with Synopsys, where he served as Chief Technology Officer, Senior Vice President, and General Manager. Prior to joining Synopsys, Raúl was a Director for the German National Research Center for Computer Science, Professor of Computer Science at the University of Paderborn, and a Research Staff Member at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center. Raúl holds a B.S and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Chile, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Karlsruhe.

Raúl has published over 70 technical papers and written and/or edited three books on electronic design automation. Raúl has contributed significantly to building the design community as a whole serving on numerous editorial, advisory and company boards. Raúl was also an Advisory Professor at Fudan University and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He was elected a Fellow of the IEEE in 1999 and to the board of directors of EDAC (the EDA Consortium) in 2012.


R. Camposano

Avi Kerbs, Director
President and CEO of Teuza Management. Mr. Kerbs, who possesses over 20 years' experience in high technology systems and management, launched Teuza in 1992. Currently serves as a director on the boards of most of Teuza's portfolio companies. Kerbs is a member of both Technion and Haifa university Board of governers and used to serves as the chairman of the Scientific and Academic Club of Haifa University. Mr. Kerbs hold a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Industrial Management from the Technion.

Alex Shubat, Director
Dr. Alex Shubat has more than 25 Years of experience in the Design, Management and Executive Roles in the Technology industry. He is currently an investor, Board Member and an Executive Advisor to a number of startups. He is a member of the Band of Angels and Silicom Ventures.

Alex co-founded Virage Logic in 1996 and served as the company’s president and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) until Sept 2010 when the company was acquired by Synopsys. During his tenure as the CEO, the company doubled in revenue, grew profitability, gained market share through both organic and inorganic product expansion, completed three acquisitions and expanded its global footprint. Prior to taking on the role of president and CEO, he served as COO and CTO.

Prior to co-founding Virage Logic, he served as director of engineering at WaferScale Integration, a provider of Programmable Microcontroller Peripherals (subsequently acquired by ST).

Alex is serving on the Santa Clara University Industry Advisory Board and he served on the EDA Consortium (EDAC) Board of Directors. He has an executive M.B.A. from Stanford University, a B.S. and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering


A. Shubat

Coby Zelnik, Director
Coby Zelnik has more than 25 years of executive management, operations, marketing, sales and engineering experience in the semiconductors and electronic design automation (EDA) industries. Mr. Zelnik co-founded Sage Design Automation in 2012 and currently serves as Sage's president.

Previously, Mr. Zelnik was the CEO of Sagantec, an EDA company that was the first to develop hierarchical layout compaction and became the leader of the process migration market. Prior to taking on the role of the CEO, Mr. Zelnik served as an Executive VP, VP Operations and VP marketing at Sagantec, where he led Sagantec’s business strategy and market focus enabling faster implementation in new process technologies of high value integrated circuits, such as x86 CPUs and mobile processors, by the world's leading semiconductor companies.

Prior to joining Sagantec, Coby held management and engineering positions in Digital Equipment Corporation's (DEC) Semiconductor Operations and Adacom Technologies. Mr. Zelnik received a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.

Jim Hogan, Advisory board member
Jim is currently the managing partner of Vista Ventures, LLC. Jim has worked in the semiconductor design and manufacturing industry for more than 40 years gaining experience as a senior executive and board director in electronic design automation, intellectual property, semiconductor equipment, material science and IT companies.

Currently, Jim serves on several private companies’ board of directors. Additionally, Jim serves as a strategic advisor to several private and public companies.


J. Hogan

Kenneth Levy, Advisory board member
Kenneth Levy is Chairman Emeritus of KLA-Tencor Corporation. Levy has been associated with the semiconductor capital equipment industry for more than 30 years.

After receiving his Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and spending six years in the aerospace simulation field, Levy joined the startup team at Computervision Corporation. He was responsible for Computervision's entry into the semiconductor capital equipment industry through their Cobilt Division.

Levy founded KLA Instruments Corporation in 1975. Under his leadership, KLA came to dominate new market areas in the semiconductor manufacturing instrumentation field innovating technologies in areas such as photomask and reticle inspection, wafer defect inspection, wafer metrology, and yield management software.

KLA Instruments and Tencor Instruments merged in 1997. Presently, KLA-Tencor is a multi-billion dollar company that is the world leader in process control solution for the semiconductor manufacturing and related industries.

In addition, Mr. Levy serves as a director emeritus on the board of Semiconductor Equipment and Materials Institute (SEMI) and as a board member of Extreme Networks. He also serves on the boards of several privately-held companies.

In recognition of his many contributions to the industry, Mr. Levy has received numerous awards, including the "SEMI" Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International award in the area of wafer fabrication, the SEMI Lifetime Achievement award, the Harvard Business School Association "Entrepreneur of the Year" award, and elected membership in the National Academy of Engineering, "for the development and commercialization of automated inspection systems for the semiconductor industry."
